Centar Zvezda is a citizens’ association founded in 2013 in Belgrade, dedicated to providing support to young people without parental care. Through the “House of Opportunities” program in Belgrade, Niš, Kragujevac, and on a rural farm, they provide accommodation, psychological support, life skills, and the opportunity for an independent life.
Requirement
Our task was to create a complete website for the Centar Zvezda association — from structure and design to user experience. The goal was to present the organization in an emotional yet professional way, attract donors, partners, and volunteers, and provide easy access to all who wish to help.

The site is designed to communicate the organization’s mission, showcase support programs, enable user applications through contact forms, attract donors and partners, and build trust through the stories of young people who have gone through the program.
The visual style of the site is built on a blue palette as the foundation, combined with white surfaces, red accents, and warm yellow-orange details — reflecting the organization’s professionalism while maintaining emotional closeness with its users. The structure naturally guides visitors through the organization’s story, support programs, stories of young “stars,” and various ways to get involved — from donations and scholarships to partnerships and volunteering.
The site is fully in Cyrillic script and adapted to the Serbian market. An integrated WooCommerce store is included for selling handmade candles and souvenirs, whose proceeds directly support the program. Special attention has been paid to responsiveness — the content displays equally well on desktop computers, tablets, and mobile phones.
